New Roots D-Mannose, 50 g
Urinary tract infections are commonly caused when resident bacteria of the large intestine, such as Escherichia coli, migrate to the urethra, which can result with infection of the urethra, bladder, and kidneys in extreme cases. Women have shorter urethras, which increases their incidence of infection.
ᴅ‑Mannose is a simple, naturally occurring sugar that is not converted to glycogen in the liver; it enters the bloodstream directly, and upon exposure within the kidney and urinary tract, it prevents adhesion and attaches to E. coli for excretion.
One rounded half teaspoon contains:
D‑Mannose 2 g
DIRECTIONS OF USE
Adults: Add ½ a rounded teaspoon (2 grams) to 1–2 cups of water or diluted juice daily, immediately before consumption, and mix well, or take as directed by your health-care practitioner. We recommend weighing D‑Mannose for precise dosage.
