Nettle root is effective in treating the symptoms associated with benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), including difficulty in urination, excessive night time urination, frequent urination, painful urination, and urinary retention.

Adult Dosage: Take 2 ml (60 drops) 3 times daily in a little water on an empty stomach.

Medicinal Ingredients (per 1 ml): Nettle root (Urtica dioica radix) 250 mg QCE (1:4)

St.Francis 250ml Nettle Root tincture - good value and it works!

The 250ml size of the St.Francis Nettle Root tincture is a much better deal (even more so, when on sale!) than purchasing the 50ml or 100ml bottle, since you're required to ingest 2 dropperfuls, ideally , 3 times a day (the smallest bottle does not last long, at that rate). Nettle Root works for some forms of 'patterned baldness' -- it helps to grow back some hair and keeps it on your head longer so that it feels thicker. However, it is not a cure -- this works only while you're taking it. The positive effects (of new hair growth) are noticed within about 2 weeks of using it and begin to reverse about 2 weeks after you stop. So, you just need to continue using it (forever). I'm female and I have been taking this tincture for at least 4 years and it works for me -- everyone is different, though -- you should notice within 2 weeks of constant use whether it will work for you.
