Cardio•Mag 2.0 is magnesium orotate, a fully reacted magnesium and orotic acid supplement. There is a very large amount of orotic acid compared to magnesium in this pure chelate because orotic acid is just as important to the product’s effectiveness, if not more.

Cardio•Mag 2.0 is designed to support heart health and to support normal blood pressure. Magnesium reduces the risk of irregular heartbeats and angina. The mineral also promotes vasodilation of the arteries and lowers blood pressure, particularly systolic blood pressure. Furthermore, magnesium helps to regulate heart contractions and plays a central role in energy metabolism. Orotic acid supports RNA synthesis, which is the precursor to DNA production. This strengthens and restores the cellular function of heart cells under stress. Magnesium orotate has been clinically studied in cardiac patients and has been shown to increase maximum exercise times, reduce angina, improve oxygen carrying capacity and reduce the frequency of abnormal heartbeats.
