** Ingredient safety is something Weleda has taken seriously throughout our 95-year history. We consistently work to bring consumers the highest quality and safest products, formulated with the purest natural ingredients. Weleda does not use the whole leaf aloe vera in our personal care products, rather we use aloe vera gel that comes from the peeled leaves of the aloe vera plant.
