Our dark coloured softgels have a fresh look. They will now have a deep red colour. We have replaced a Carob based non-medicinal in the composition of our softgel with annatto seed extract. Annatto extract is sourced from the seeds of this tropical fruit. Annatto (Bixa orellana L.) is a rich source of tocotrienols. It has a long history of use as an antimicrobial and is a potent antioxidant. It also adds UV protection and stability to the contents of our softgels.
The prostate; it’s a problem for the majority of men as they age. It can lead to unnecessary problems later in life including surgery. This small gland, located just below the bladder, impacts both your urinary and sexual functions. Every man has a very effective early warning system; problems during urination or ejaculation may indicate an enlarged prostate (benign prostate hyperplasia [BPH]).
Typically, problems with the prostate involve BPH. Men starting at age 40 produce and accumulate high levels of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the prostate. This accumulation of DHT may encourage the growth of cells. In time, this growth in the prostate gland can become problematic, by causing pressure against the urethra, resulting in many BPH symptoms.
DHT is both a inhibitory and activating hormone, like a switch. For example, it turns some hair follicles on, causing hair growth, like the hair on our faces, while it turns others off, like the hair on our scalps.
Prostate Perform contains phytosterols in different forms such as saw palmetto, soy, pygeum, and rye flower pollen, all of which are standardized to attain effective result. Phytosterols are plant cholesterols which show ample evidence to aid with the symptoms of BPH. It also combines vitamins, minerals, amino acids, nutraceuticals, and fatty acids to support prostate metabolism and protect from further disease.
A maintenance regimen of New Roots Herbal’s Prostate Perform is a smart addition to your nutritional program. Our innovative formula acts as a proactive, one-stop supplement to help ensure optimal male health.
